30 weeks and counting!
As of right now I am 34 weeks but I started this post four weeks ago and the pics of me are from my 30 week mark! I have been feeling OK. I have tension migraine headaches that are giving me a lot of issues and no one has been able to help thus far. Neurologist - nothing, Massage - help with back and hips but not head, Chiropractor - has started to help after two months of visits!!! William and I are having a ton of fun shopping for this little girl and getting her room ready for her arrival!!!
Sex Party
Yep, that's what I said Sex Party!!! We decided to have a surprise party to find out the "Sex" of our baby. We BBQed at the park and for dessert we had a cake made that was chocolate on the outside and either pink or blue depending on the sex of the baby on the inside! the ultra sound tech wrote the sex on a card and sealed the envelope. We took the envelope directly to the baker, so even we had no idea until we cut the cake!!! When people arrived we had them guess weather they thought it was a boy or a girl and then gave them either a tiara or a mustache to ware! It was so much fun to be together with everyone!!!

Baby on Board
We are so excited to be finally adding another addition to our family! We found out 6 weeks into it that I am pregnant!!! As of 6/24/11 I am 14 1/2 weeks along, due December 21st and feeling great! (Other then the fact that I will most likely be in the hospital on Christmas!) I am hoping for a girl, Will is hoping for a boy and William still has no clue whats going on!!! Will and I are happy for what ever God blesses us with! We gave William a little doll to play with so I could work with him on being gentle and things of that nature but Will has informed me that William is not going anywhere near the baby because he thinks its fun to throw his doll off the deck!!! He will be three by the time the baby gets here so there is still time to work on him! If you have any suggestions on ways I can teach him, let me know!

Walking
April 1st was a new beginning for me! It was the first day in 4 months that I was allowed to walk! I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as painful to walk on like it was after surgery #11. I am on restriction for a few months as Dr.B doesn't want me to over do it and since that's one of my many middle names I am not allowed to do anything but walk short distances! I am perfectly content just being able to walk around and care for William! I know the last 4 months have been the hardest on him and he seems to be really happy that I am walking and able to hold him and carry him around!!! Physical therapy is going well and I have more strength then expected but my one leg is much smaller then the other!!! Its kind of funny looking! Luckily the weather is still bad enough to ware pants!

Surgery #12 and #13
Surgery #11 was a flop! Dr. Badger drilled some holes into the end of my bone to try and get the cartilage to heal itself but that didn’t work because my knee is just too damaged!!! After waiting 11 months to make sure it really didn’t work. December 1st, 2010 was surgery #12. I had a knee arthroscopy where Dr. Badger took some cartilage tissue out and sent it to a lab where they used my tissue to grow more cells. February 4th, 2011, Surgery #13 Dr. Badger and Dr. Boyer sliced open my knee about 4 inches! They sewed a patch over the defect and took all the cells the lab had grown and filled in the hole in my bone. I am 6 weeks down with two more weeks to go until I can start walking!!! It will be a long 2 year recovery before I can be really active again but we should know in about 6 months to a year if the surgery worked or not!I posted some pictures of my surgery below just be warned they are NOT for the faint of heart!!!
PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!
This is a picture of the hole in my bone. There should be soft white cartilage covering where the hole is!
This is a picture of the doctors preparing my new cells!
This is the finished product! It doesn't look a whole lot different but by now my cells have started attaching and growing!!!

Happy Birthday William!
I can't believe my baby is TWO! As I reflect on the past two years I cant help but smile at all the wonderful times we have had together as a family! William is smart, sweet, gentle, and loving! I enjoy being at home and watching him learn new things everyday day! I love his sweet smile and all the hugs and kisses he offers throughout the day. He loves cars, trains, airplanes and balls. He loves to play with everyone and on a nice day run around outside! He loves the water and I am hoping he will take after his mother and be a swimming superstar!!! He is growing like a weed and is at the top of all the charts. Since Christmas he has rocketed into the world of words! He is already saying so much and is adding to his vocabulary daily!!! My dear sweet William I love you so much and hope you always know how much you father, mother, and all who know you cherish every moment with you!!!
Here are some pictures from the month of January which was spend celebrating Williams birthday!!!
Enjoy!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
December was a busy month for the our little family! I had more knee surgery and am on crutches for several months. I was able to get out to see Handel's Messiah and Beethoven's 9Th symphony with Michelle and Danielle! Will had his tonsils removed and was off work for practically the whole month. We did make it out as well as had a fun murder mystery party to celebrate Will's birthday. William was board because Mommy and Daddy didn't feel like doing much! we did make sure we went to the ward Christmas party and we drove around a lot looking at Christmas lights! We flew to Dallas to spend a week at Christmas with all of the Kearns clan which is always a blast! Wills sister and I even pulled off a fake fight in front of everyone. We toured the new Dallas cowboys stadium and we got to walk out onto the field where the team just happened to be practicing!!! Obviously we stayed to watch the cowboys practice for a few hours, (since Will is obsessed with them!) and then hit SONIC on our way home in honor of Carrie's (and Kate's) birthday! William loved ripping all the wrapping paper off the presents but really could care less about the actual presents until all the wrapping paper was out of sight! We had a quit new years at home with just the three of us. We celebrated N.Y. time and went to bed early!
We hope this post finds you well and that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and was able to reflect on the true reason for the season, which is Christ our savior! Happy New year to you all and may God bless you and yours all year long!!!
